Samsung will Push Android Gingerbead to Galaxy Phone, Tablet

Samsung will finally climb to Android Gingerbread 2.3 along the Galaxy S smartphone and Wandflower Tab tablet, the company announced Monday. Samsung did not say when exactly it will push outgoing the update, leave out that the rollout begins in mid-May in the U.K., and so goes through to European Union, North America, and the rest of the world-wide.

The smattering of Samsung devices to get Android 2.3 includes the Galaxy S smartphone, Galaxy Tab (7-edge) tablet, and the get down-end Ace/Gio/Fit/mini phones.
